General Motors – Advanced Design Studio

This project includes building modifications and alterations to an existing facility to relocate an existing design center from North Hollywood to Pasadena, Calif. The facility received a new, 3,440 SF addition on the east end of the building. An 81,600 SF warehouse space was repurposed into office space, conference rooms, collaboration spaces, copy areas, toilet rooms, pantry and IT support areas. A 17,464 SF mezzanine is also included to provide additional space.

The project scope includes site work necessary to accommodate secure outdoor vehicle evaluations. This project also includes relocating all the existing equipment, bed plates, milling machines, turntables, furniture and other miscellaneous design tools from the North Hollywood location.
