Boldt Real Estate, in partnership with UF Health and Dallas-based Intuitive Health, broke ground on a 14,300 SF Emergency and Urgent Care Center in Oxford, Fla. The facility is the latest milestone in a strategic expansion that’s transforming healthcare access across the state through an innovative dual-model approach.
A New Standard for Healthcare Delivery
The Oxford center follows the October groundbreaking of a larger, 26,000 SF, two-story facility in Jacksonville, located just west of the Intracoastal Waterway. Together, these projects strengthen UF Health’s commitment to providing high-quality, efficient care to Florida communities. They leverage Intuitive Health’s innovative model, which combines emergency and urgent care under one roof.
This dual-model approach eliminates a common healthcare dilemma: patients no longer need to guess whether their condition requires an emergency room or urgent care visit. Instead, they can walk into a single facility where medical professionals assess their needs and provide the appropriate level of care—streamlining the experience and reducing wait times.
Comprehensive Care, Convenient Access
Both facilities will offer full diagnostic and treatment capabilities typically found in traditional emergency departments, including:
- On-site laboratory testing
- X-ray imaging
- Ultrasound services
- CT scan technology
This comprehensive setup enables medical teams to treat the full spectrum of healthcare needs, from minor illnesses and injuries to serious medical emergencies, without requiring patients to transfer to another location.
