Stumpf Named Field Operations Manager for The Boldt Company
APPLETON, WIS. [August 27, 2026] — The Boldt Company is pleased to announce the promotion of John Stumpf to Field Operations Manager.
In this role, Stumpf provides leadership and oversight for field operations across all trades in the Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago markets, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with a high standard of quality. Additionally, Stumpf is responsible for workforce planning, operational performance, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of field leadership teams. Working closely with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and union partners, he supports business growth, drives strategic planning, promotes a strong safety culture and implements data-driven processes that enhance project execution and operational excellence.
Stumpf has been with Boldt for more than 10 years and previously served as a Project Manager. Stumpf holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering & management from Marquette University.
