General Motors Defense – ISV
Boldt has completed hundreds of projects over the years for General Motors. For this project, Boldt completed an interior build-out within an existing 75,000 SF facility for General Motors’ innovative Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV), part of General Motors Defense. The Infantry Squad Vehicle is a lightweight, compact expeditionary vehicle, capable of being sling-loaded from a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and compact enough to fit inside a CH-47 Chinook helicopter for air transportability.
Construction within the facility included retooling approximately 65,000 SF of manufacturing space to produce the Infantry Squad and an additional 10,000 SF of new office, administrative and conference room space.
