Work begins at new innovative Beaufort Memorial facility on Hilton Head Island
Emergency and urgent care services are one step closer to reality for southern Beaufort County, as Beaufort Memorial, MUSC Health, Intuitive Health and Boldt Real Estate mark the start of work on a new combination Emergency & Urgent Care facility on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The facility, which will be open 24/7 and staffed with emergency-trained, board-certified physicians and nurses, will be fully equipped with on-site lab services and a comprehensive radiology suite including X-ray and CT.
With Boldt Real Estate leading development, Beaufort Memorial is shaping a next-generation healthcare destination, uniting innovative design, superior functionality and enduring value to redefine patient care for the community.
The facility’s innovative model is designed to keep healthcare costs appropriate to the level of care a patient needs. Patients can expect the walk-in convenience of an urgent care center and the clinical expertise of a traditional hospital ER—without unnecessary delays, confusion or costs.
Located along William Hilton Parkway, the facility will bring fully integrated emergency and urgent care services under one roof on the southern end of Hilton Head Island—offering patients a single, trusted destination when an unexpected health need arises.

- 5 ER Exam Rooms
- 5 Urgent Care Exam Rooms
- 1 Trauma Room
- Imaging/Radiology – CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, EKG
- Point-of-Care Testing/Lab
