Sutter Health – 3838 California Primary Care Expansion

The 3838 California Primary Care Expansion enhanced healthcare services through a phased approach, completed in 2026. The project used a design-build delivery method to maximize efficiency, with Boulder Associates serving as the architect.
The project took place over three phases and resulted in a 2,500 SF blood draw lab on the fourth floor with six blood draw stations, a waiting room, a blood processing lab, and a staff lounge. It also added a 12,000 SF primary care center on the third floor with exam rooms designed for patient convenience, along with a modern imaging department on the first floor to improve diagnostic services.
