Lawton Community Health Center – Movie Theater Conversion

The building, originally constructed in 1994, underwent renovations to accommodate the program requirements for a new medical clinic facility. The scope of work included a near‑complete interior demolition and remodel of the existing movie theater.

The project included new MEP systems, fire suppression, fire alarm systems and all new finishes. When complete, the building featured a central waiting and reception area at the main entrance, providing seating for about 60 individuals. The facility houses an urgent care clinic, pharmacy, pediatrics department, laboratory, therapy gym, speech therapy and counseling rooms. The building also included office space, shipping and receiving areas.

Structural steel and a concrete deck for the second floor were added to allow for future expansion of clinic services, and an elevator was installed to improve accessibility.
